Why is the gateway NOT green on the network map?
The network map is only viewable by Admins.
Gateways on the Network Map
A gateway does not turn green on the network map until it is communicating with at least one (1) device over the wireless network. Note: We do not recommend using the network map for device troubleshooting, it is designed to assist Pelican’s technical support assist you with wireless communication.
If you want to check the gateway’s connectivity status, follow these instructions:
- Select Admin.
- Select Site Settings.
- Select the box under Gateways.
- The gateway’s status (active or disconnected) will be displayed under the gateway’s name.
