What are common humidity levels?

Comfortable relative humidity levels:

Pelican has found that tenants are comfortable when a room’s relative humidity is between 30% and 60%. 60% humidity allow for good perspiration levels and 30% means the room is not dry enough to dry out our skin.

What is relative humidity?

Relative humidity (RH) levels indicate the amount of water air can hold at the current room temperature. For example, warmer air can hold “more” water than colder air, so the percentage of water the air is able to hold changes in relationship to the room’s temperature. This is important because the amount of water the air can hold also directly affects how comfortable we are in that space since we use perspiration (sweating) to maintain our body temperatures.
