How do I change a Pelican gateway from static back to DHCP?
Follows these steps to reset the gateway back to DHCP:
- Power down the gateway.
- Remove the Ethernet cable from the gateway’s Ethernet port.
- Power up the gateway.
- Look for a solid LAN light on the bottom of the gateway.
- Plug in the Ethernet cable into the gateway’s Ethernet port within 5 seconds after seeing a solid LAN light.
- The gateway is now in DHCP mode.
Note: If you do not plug the Ethernet cable back in within 5 seconds after seeing the solid LAN light, the gateway will revert to the static IP address and not DHCP.
