Note: This configuration is only able to be enabled by Pelican technical support.
For Hot Water or Steam Floating Valve Control: Wire the thermostat’s (W) output to open the valve and (W2) to close the valve.
For Chilled Water Valve Control: Wire the thermostat’s (Y) output to open the valve and (Y2) to close the valve.
This configuration is found under: Admin > Thermostat’s configuration > “select any thermostat” > Thermostat Operation > Floating Valve (hidden configuration).
- None – disables floating valve control.
- Heat – the thermostat uses (W) to open the heat valve and (W2) to close the heat valve.
- Cool – the thermostat uses (Y) to open the cold valve and (Y2) to close the cold valve.
- Heat & Cool – the thermostat uses (W) to open the heat valve and (W2) to close the heat valve. And the thermostat uses (Y) to open the cold valve and (Y2) to close the cold water valve.
Note: In this configuration, the output signal will enable for 95 seconds and then de-energize. If needed this 95 second timer can be adjusted by Pelican technical support.
