The Pelican OpenAPI allows you to make real-time changes to your Pelican devices and pull data to build your own external applications that interact with your Pelican Solution in more complex ways than our interface might provide out of the box.

The Pelican OpenAPI provides a RESTful interface with either XML or JSON-formatted responses to access most Pelican resources. The interface uses simple HTTP GET and POST commands to request settings or change active parameters. Transactions are only allowed over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connections using password protection. These standard protocols are easily implemented by developers on all types of computing platforms using modern scripting and programming languages.
