What zone controller do my thermostats communicate with?

If your thermostat is controlling a zone damper (VVT, VAV, Fan Powered Box, etc.) then it will be communicating with a Pelican zone controller (Z8 or Z24) to request heating, cooling, and/or ventilation cycles. To check which zone controller a thermostat is communicating with:

1. Navigate to your Pelican web-app.
2. Select Admin.
3. Select Thermostat Configurations
4. Select the thermostat you want to check.
5. Under Thermostat Settings you will see a Zone Controller selected. That is the zone controller that the thermostat is communicating with.
