A Pelican Remote Wireless Sensor extends the temperature sensing range of a master Pelican Thermostat or it can be used as a stand-alone temperature monitoring device. The Remote Wireless Sensor is easily installed in a second location to enhance the temperature detection range of your Pelican system. Once installed, the remote sensor either wirelessly connects to a Master Pelican Thermostat (TS200, TS200H, TS250, or TS250H) or directly to a Pelican Gateway. This additional temperature detection can either be used to average out space temperatures or just as a way to remotely monitor an additional space.

Average and/or Monitor Temperatures

A remote wireless sensor gives you additional temperature detection between multiple zones. Always know exactly what temperature it is in your building spaces anytime, any day.

RT1-DC

(battery powered)

The RT1-DC is powered by two AA batteries. This remote sensor is easily installed in a second location for temperature averaging or temperature detection. Batteries last for a year and the RT1-DC notifies you via email and/or text when they are low.

RT1-AC

(24VAC powered)

rt1-ac

The RT1-AC is powered by 24 VAC. This remote sensor is easily installed in a second location for temperature averaging or temperature detection. No need to worry about batteries, but it does require a power source.

Online Weighting Management

All weighting is managed through the Pelican Web App. Setting different weights between multiple RT1 sensors and the Master Thermostat is as easy as moving a slider on a computer screen.

Multiple Locations

Up to eight Remote Sensors can be linked to a single Master thermostat. This provides maximum temperature detection flexibility when managing a large space.

Automated Balancing

At times when temperatures become out of balance between sensing locations, the master thermostat will automatically energize the fan to recirculate the air and balance the conditioned spaces.

Graphical Historical Tracking

Temperatures from each location are stored in real-time and can be displayed on a historical graph. This helps for managing the overall space. Allows you to identify areas where balance can be improved for comfort.

Multiple Power Options

Two versions of the remote sensor are available. The RT1-AC is powered by 24 VAC. The RT1-DC is battery powered (two AA batteries) for locations where wired power is not available. The RT1-AC has the advantage of never needing to have its batteries replaced. In addition, the RT1-AC has a built-in wireless repeater which will extend the range of your Pelican network.
